You may not hold Inspire Web Survey Software (SimpleWebSurvey) or its associates liable for the use of this software.

By downloading and using this software you agree to these terms.

Install.

Make Config.php write access
Make directory \smarty\templates_c   write access
Make directory \admin\smarty\templates_c  write access

run /survey/install.php in your web browser

delete or rename install.php for security reasons
in your web browser go to survey/admin/index.php 
to use the software.

We have provided a FAQ on the main web page so you ask questions.

The directories bellow need to have write rights for any users (if they do not exist, please create them)
    smarty/templates_c          = directory where smarty compiles the pages
    admin/smarty/templates_c    = directory where smarty compiles the pages
    
The actual site does not neede the following directories
    readme
    database

You will also need to edit the config.php file in order to properly config the database acces :
    DB_HOST     = the host for the mysql server (usually localhost)
    DB_NAME     = the name of the database
    DB_USER     = the user to access the database
    DB_PASSWD   = the password for the above user
