BD: Crítica – Keos Vol. 1 – Osíris

Keos é um órfão de um escudeiro de Ramsés II que se torna conselheiro do faraó Merneptah e que, através de um misterioso anel, é protegido por Osíris (deus da mitologia egípcia, associado à vegetação e a vida no Além), e fica com o poder de salvar a humanidade. O jovem trava amizade com Moisés e fica no seio de intrigas dos sacerdotes de Karnak.

Não sendo o melhor leitor da banda desenhada clássica franco-belga, foi com agrado que li Osíris. Apesar de ter demasiado texto para o meu “palato” (muitos balões – e principalmente balões demasiadamente grandes), este álbum “escorrega” bem.

O argumento, escrito por Jacques Martin, mistura ficção pura e dura, com elementos históricos e religiosos, misturando personagens ficcionadas com personagens históricas como por é o caso de Moisés.

A arte da J. Players enquadra-se perfeitamente na “escola” Jacques Martin da bd mais clássica e linha clara. Tudo muito certinho, direitinho e enquadrado nas vinhetas. Parece que foi tudo feito com régua e esquadro. Mas apesar disso, consegue-se ver dinamismo nas poucas cenas de acção que há, e isso é uma mais valia.

A legendagem podia ser melhor. Apesar de já ter lido livros com este handicap mais acentuado, Keos 1 – Osíris está entre a média do que se vai fazendo em Portugal, sendo que a média portuguesa é baixa relativamente a outros países. A tradução é competente.

A qualidade de papel e encadernação são elementos que dificilmente seriam melhores! Cinco Estrelas!

Apesar de não me entusiasmar com este género de banda desenhada, no entanto há que enaltecer que é uma obra bem-conseguida e com qualidade.
